I live near Syracuse NY and am a flight attendant at NWA. I bought the '64 in 1974 from Griffin Ford in New Rochelle, NY and have been in contact with the son of the original owner. He sold the car back to the dealer when his father (the owner) passed away.
The '68 Landau I bought 3 years ago in Pennsylvania from the original owner, Everett Balmer of Schaefferstown. It has the 429 V8, and needless to say is very quick. Many "youngsters" are perplexed by the "suicide" door setup and have asked if it is an Edsel!
Needless to say I am very proud and pleased to own such beautiful cars. I am a member of the Heartland Thunderbird Club of Kansas City, MO. My daily driver is an '89 Mark 7. Thank you very much for letting me share my pride and joy with you and perhaps many other Thunderbird lovers.
